You Say You Want a Revolution – reprise

The term revolution is being bandied about quit a bit these days with one candidate calling for a political revolution. Putting forth some very progressive ideas and calling for his backers and supporters to become even more energised.

A debate – if you can call it that – was just held between those who wish to be the president of this country and “lead it on to greatness” having just been held. The outcome of which being just as debatable, depending who you talk to or listen to.

I have to admit I do not remember this much interest in the political process for very long time. One group wishing for a great deal of change in the policies of the government and others wishing to maintain the status quo, as well as sections of society wishing for autonomy and at the same time recognition and equality.
